Why do I paint ?
I have always been fascinated by colors, shapes and textures. The well-being that art brings me today on a physical and mental and essential level: focused on things other than my pain, I have always sought to express my anxieties and my doubts through my creations.
After testing different creative hobbies for many years, I learned the art of polymer clay, creating jewelry, weaving semi-precious beads, I participated in creative markets which allowed me to expand my creative horizons
I discovered Zentangle during our Indian experience, in a world rich in colors, which gradually led me to experiment with the powders used both for the creation of rangolis (traditional and colorful patterns drawn on the ground making thinking of the mandala from afar, and serving as a religious ritual) or during the festival of colors where pigments are thrown into the air or placed on the faces of others to celebrate the arrival of spring.
I therefore discovered a world rich in pigments, which gradually led me to experiment with painting with local resources such as spices: coffee, tea, turmeric,
It was the beginning of my passion for painting, and it has only grown since our return: expressing myself freely and intuitively makes me vibrate and feel better.
Art, and painting in my case, is therapeutic
