Our original artworks are created using a variety of media such as acrylic, oil, and mixed media. These unique pieces are available on high-quality canvases and other premium materials to ensure longevity and visual appeal.
Each painting is carefully varnished to ensure UV and anti-yellowing protection.

Each descriptive sheet mentions the support, the type of medium used (acrylic, charcoal, oil...) and the varnish.

Each canvas, wood, or canvas-mounted board print will be delivered with all necessary fixings on the back. You can hang it directly or have it framed according to your preferences.

For prints, if the original artwork is sold with a mat or frame, this will be clearly specified on the product page, but most often the artwork is sold unframed so you can choose for yourself. This also significantly reduces shipping costs and the risk of damage by carriers.

How are the original works signed?

How can I verify the authenticity of a VB-ARTS painting? A: To guarantee the authenticity of a VB-ARTS painting, each piece is marked with specific identifiers. On the front of the artwork, you will find the three letters "VBA" signed onto the painting, corresponding to the three letters of the VB-ARTS logo. Additionally, the back of the painting contains essential information, including the title, medium and support, year of creation, and the artist's name accompanied by a handwritten signature. This comprehensive documentation not only guarantees the artwork's authenticity but also provides you with a complete history of the piece.

What media are used?

Vb-Arts also uses:
- classic cotton canvases, mounted on a wooden frame and stretched with small, carefully fixed wooden wedges
- Wooden supports sourced from a local carpentry workshop to promote eco-responsible artwork: these are wood panels made from offcuts after furniture making or from pieces cut for their clients' projects. The artist recovers what has not been used and remains large enough to create a beautiful artwork.

The sizes vary from one work to another; the wooden panels are carefully sanded and prepared with several coats of primer to obtain a perfect surface ready to accommodate all kinds of media: pencils, charcoal, inks, acrylic paints, oil paints…

The opened prints are sent directly by the printing company and will be digitally signed. A certificate of authenticity can be issued upon request only and will be sent by email.
