Métamorphose incandescente

La métamorphose du chaos

This abstract painting is directly inspired by the port landscapes I discovered during my time living in India. Cranes, pontoons, trawlers, and stacks of containers are transformed into vertical and horizontal lines, colored rectangles, and overlapping rhythms.

I work in layers, allowing the memory of the place to surface: the density of activity, the background noise, the rust, the glints of light on the metal. The turquoise background suggests both water and sky, while the orange and rust blocks anchor the composition in an almost industrial materiality.

"Port Industry" explores that moment when the visual chaos of a port reorganizes itself into an internal structure. It is a painting designed for contemporary interiors—living rooms, offices, treatment spaces—that seek energy, depth, and an invitation to travel.
