 " Rhythm of Embers " is a contemporary abstract tribal acrylic painting on wood (30 × 30 × 1.5 cm) that explores the heat of scorched lands and the energy of inner fire. 
 
Deep reds, oranges, browns and ochres respond to each other in successive layers, deposited, scraped and then revealed again, as if the surface retained the memory of what has been erased.
 
 
 Touches of white and black structure the whole, creating powerful contrasts that guide the eye from one point of intensity to another.
 
 
 At the heart of the composition, circular motifs, pulsating dots, and percussive lines evoke the rhythm of a drum or a dance around embers . References to tribal paintings and ritual makeup are discernible in these repeated signs, like an instinctive language speaking directly to the body. The material is present, dense in places, more transparent elsewhere : one senses the gesture, the repetitions, the deliberate hesitations that give rise to depth.
