Sensitive Studies
Small observations. Quiet discoveries.
"TWO FRUITS, ONE SILENCE" turns a simple still life into an exercise in presence. Two forms share the same space. Line, volume and shadow establish a quiet dialogue between them, while the surrounding emptiness becomes an active part of the composition. An observation of ordinary things — and of the silence that exists between them.
"WHAT WALKING DRAWS" looks at an everyday object through the traces of movement it carries. A shoe is never only a shoe. It bears weight, distance, direction and memory. Through observation and line, the familiar object becomes a quiet record of the body that has moved through it. A study of presence through what the body leaves behind.
"GOLDEN SILENCE" explores the quiet intensity of observation. Through a restrained composition and the depth of oil on paper, the ordinary becomes a space for contemplation. Form, shadow and light are reduced to what is essential, allowing silence itself to become part of the image. A sensitive study of presence — and of what appears when we simply take the time to look.
"BETWEEN TWO GAZES" captures the invisible space created when two people face one another. The drawing is less concerned with individual portraiture than with relationship: distance, attention, tension and the silent exchange carried by a gaze. Two figures — and between them, everything that remains unspoken. Portfolio — SEO
ODE TO THE LINE returns to one of the most fundamental elements of drawing: the line itself. A line can describe, hesitate, disappear, insist or change direction. Freed from the need to become a finished image, it records the movement of the hand and the immediacy of perception. A study of drawing reduced to its most essential language.
"AT YOUR FINGERTIPS" focuses on one of our most instinctive forms of expression: the hand. Gesture becomes language. Tension, direction and movement emerge through line and material, capturing the fragile instant between intention and action. A study of the body not as portrait, but as presence.
